VaxFax is a personal repository of vaccine documents giving individuals a convenient way to easily share vax cards with organizations and entities that require proof of vaccination for entry
How is this going to help?We hope to provide an easy way for individuals to store and share their vaccination records with organizations that decide to require such information to enter their buildings or conduct business with their staff.
Who verifies the records? We have a small staff working to manually verify each submission that comes in.
How do you verify the submissions?
- We start with verifying the email address from each user.
- Then we verify the vaccine card image the user submits, for each vaccine, by running it through an image validator to ensure it was not made in photoshop or any other image manipulation software.
- Next we validate the manufacturer and the batch number. We do this by comparing the information submitted to our database of known manufacturers/batches.
- The final verification is a proprietary algorythm of checks and balances. Hey, we're nerds and we love this kind of stuff!
What will you do with my information?
Nothing. We are not in the "data collecting" business. We are in the business of getting our lives back to normal and helping businesses stay in business.
What information do you give to the Business/Entity scanning my card?
If you allow a Business/entity to scan your VaxFax™ card, they will have your full name, city/zip you reside in, your date of birth and the validation information we compiled. That's it.
